George Eliot to reopen Work is due to start on the George Eliot, with a view to reopening on the 6th September.
The Whitestone welcomes new licensee, John Thorpe, who has sights set on returning this estate pub to its former glory and introducing special weekday meal deals.
Former William White, Beer Keller and more recently The Silk Mill is set to undergo another transformation and new identity under Stonegate’s Craft Union division. Specialising in covering the latest sporting action, quizzes and live music, customers will see little change from their current offerings – except that food will no longer be on the menu.
Welcome to our three newest landlords The publicans game of musical chairs reveals three more appointments: Andrew & Dawn Harrison have now taken on the Manor House in Fillongley and are in the process of redecorating. A new menu is also on the cards. Meanwhile, the Weavers Arms seems to be going through a Hokey-Cokey phase with opening days & times changing on a far too regular basis. We hope things settle down and returns to the lovely pub & restaurant it used to be.

Magazine distributor(s) – to co-ordinate and deliver the branch magazine to Stockingford / Bedworth / Bulkington / Attleborough areas.
Pubs Officer(s) – to liaise with ALL publicans in the branch area and update CAMRA’s Pub database.
GBG (Good Beer Guide) Co-Ordinator – to ensure CAMRA’s pub database is up to date.
Social Secretary – to organize and publicize branch social events and monthly meetings.
