Annual General Meeting
Following a successful Annual General Meeting we were able to form a working committee, however there are still some positions that we would like to fulfil. (see Vacancies below)
Pub & Branch News
Jailhouse set to reopen An application has been approved by Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council for a variation to the alcohol license for the Jailhouse and works to refurbish the property is under way, with the reopening date set for 1st June. We wish Darren and Sue every success with their new venture.
The lease for the George Eliot hotel has been advertised by letting agent Savills, with a free of tie rent of £50,000 per year
Membership Consultation
In an attempt to rejuvenate interaction with you, the members, we would like to hear your thoughts on what, when and where you would like branch activities to include.
Vacancies:
There are a number of committee roles that we would like to appoint - Pubs officer(s), Brewery Liaison Officer(s), Magazine sub-editor and Pub protection officer.
There are also openings for Magazine distributors – to deliver the branch magazine in
(i) the Stockingford area (Royal Oak, White Lion, Miners Arms, Sunnyside).
(ii) the Hartshill / Chapel End area (Malt Shovel, Plough, Salutation, Windmill etc.)
