August Newsletter
August 2021
August usually sees CAMRA's Great British Beer Festival, held at Olympia in London, with the restrictions imposed as part of the Covid pandemic only being removed in mid-July it was not possible to organise the event in time.
However, CAMRA took the opportunity to welcome drinkers back into the pubs by launching a Great British Beer Festival at Your Local, which ran between 30 Jul. and 8 Aug. Sadly, none of the pubs in our area were interested in taking up the idea.
