Well known and the oldest pub in the centre of the village. The well-appointed bar is split into two areas: one with an open fire, a small snug and two games rooms at the rear. The regulars support the teams in the local darts and dominoes leagues. The exterior looks picturesque adorned with hanging baskets making a pleasant area to sit and watch the local Anker morris men when they entertain the village. There is a heated covered smoking area.
